Yahweh has Unlimited Power

Today as I’m reading in my time of quiet devotion with the LORD Jesus, I keep coming across the truth that God is El Shaddai (God Almighty) and Yahweh Tsebaoth (The LORD of Host). He has unlimited power. 🤯

There is nothing that is too hard for God. In fact just the other day while reading Genesis 18 I was thrilled read the LORD asked Abraham:

“Is anything impossible for the Lord?…””
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭18:14‬ ‭

The only correct answer to this question is “no”. God can do all things and WITH God all things are possible.

I am encouraged by this truth today because I know my God is the One who is Sovereign over ALL things. I’m encouraged to complete the work He has given me to do. I’m excited about pressing forward and accomplishing His purposes today.

Of course I cannot talk about God being limitless without referencing the statement Jesus made:

“Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭19:26‬ ‭

The powerful thing is that the topic Jesus is speaking on is salvation! Woo hoo! It’s great news that God has unlimited power when it comes to saving sinful people like me. He is fully capable of making all things new. He is not prohibited from giving new life to His children. We get to experience a full heart and mind change because of His great power. His ability to do the impossible allows Him to change our desires from evil towards good. He does all things well!

All praise to Yahweh Tsebaoth (the LORD of host, The LORD Almighty!
